
Our friend Vern Isbell passed away Monday Night April 6th 2015 at the age of 60 years and 1 day.

Our Brother Vern Isbell passed away Monday night in his sleep of an apparent heart attack. He was born April 5, 1955 in Orange County, Calif. Vern was preceded in death by his parents, JD & Johnnie Isbell, his niece, Kristiana Isbell, and his beloved Kitty Sweet Pea. Vern was 1 of 7 kids: Brothers Robert, Donald, Jeff Isbell and sisters, Linda Howard, Martha Theobald & Jaye Kilpatrick. Nieces: Brianna, Alyssa, Gaby, Nephews: Jason, Josh & Jonathan, Jeremy, Corey and all his great nieces and nephews. Vern was a special needs man, he suffered a brain trauma as an infant and never quite grew up. He had severe Diabetes. He lived Independently, loved people, loved streaming classics oldies from Internet Radio station, especially Phil's Radio Stations. He also loved McDonalds, and the beach, and his kitty Sweet Pea who passed earlier this year. He was such an innocent. Thanks to all his friends who meant a lot to him, Scott D, Mark H, Ramoana S., Philip K and many more friends. Vern was a regular cast member on The LG Evening Zoo and its predecessor Fry & Friends. Vern also hosted his own show on LG73's sister station Max Radio called "Vern's Oldies That Rock."
